  1. I also eat pineapples in small amounts, sugar is bad for everyone. When I was a kid I used to eat and drink sweets, but now that I'm a senior citizen I have to change my diet. It's a difficult challenge staying away from sugars, but with family support, it's doable. Here's a picture of what my heaven looks like. Full of Dole Pineapple Gold!
  2. Eraserheads - With A Smile (Official Video) Lift your head, baby, don't be scared Of the things that could go wrong along the way You'll get by with a smile You can't win at everything but you can try Baby, you don't have to worry 'Cause there ain't no need to hurry No one ever said that there's an easy way When they're closing all their doors And they don't want you anymore This sounds funny but I'll say it anyway Girl, I'll stay through the bad times Even if I have to fetch you everyday You'll get by if you smile You can never be too happy in this life In a world where everybody hates a happy ending story It's a wonder love can make the world go 'round But don't let it bring you down and turn your face into a frown You'll get along with a little prayer and a song
  3. Talbos ng camote, kalabasa, kamatis, sayote... in English, green leafy vegetables, squash, tomato, chayote (vegetable pear) - all steamed with salt and pepper.
  4. Join me in my journey as I eat nothing but vegetables! Some do it for health, others for diet. I'm going vegetarian for social media reasons. Without further ado, here are the pictures.
  5. I really enjoy drinking ginger tea with orange. Just the right sweetness 🙂
  6. I'm sure glad I found this informative online community. Makes old timers like me feel warm and fuzzy inside 🙂 Thanks for sharing your ideas kids!
  7. In case you need cash, this is a good alternative. But be careful, there are many scams out there, so make sure you do your research in advance. A reverse mortgage is available to senior citizens, even if they're still living in their own home or have moved into an assisted living facility or nursing home. Before you consider it, though, you'll need to know how it works and whether it's right for you. A reverse mortgage is a special type of home loan that lets you access the equity in your home without selling it or taking on a monthly mortgage payment. It's a way for seniors to get the money they need to pay for medical bills, home repairs, or other expenses.
